If you are a Charter/Spectrum customer and cannot send emails right now,
just give it time. Don't do what I did and remove and reinstall. It is
not a problem on your end or the Iphone. They have a system wide issue
going on right now and are trying to fix it.
It would be nice if when something like this happens they send out a
text or email to their customers so you don't waste time doing what I did.

Where did you see that outage message? I don't see it in https://www.dslreports.com/forum/charter and https://community.spectrum.net/categories/email-22.
