• Apple slightly imroves the capacity of their garbage bin iPhone 16 el-c

Bearing in mind Apple's garbage bin charge-it-every-night-or-else iPhone batteries are the veritable laughing stock of the smartphone industry
because they're so cheaply made, but this is at least an improvement.

New leak may have revealed iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max battery capacities https://www.techradar.com/phones/iphone/new-leak-may-have-revealed-iphone-16-pro-and-pro-max-battery-capacities
"As our iPhone 15 Pro review and iPhone 15 Pro Max review will tell you,
the current models are able to go for about a day (or a little over) with general use. It looks as though the new editions will still need charging overnight most of the time."

iPhone 16 Pro Model to Get Biggest Battery Capacity Jump https://www.macrumors.com/2024/08/02/iphone-16-pro-battery-capacities/
"Chinese Weibo-based leaker Instant Digital today posted the mAh (milliampere-hours) figures for the iPhone 16 Pro (3,577 mAh) and iPhone 16
    Pro Max (4,676 mAh)"

What's amazing is how little the average iPhone user understands when the
key determinant of overall battery life (in years) is the original capacity (where iPhones must be charged every night - unlike modern smartphones).

The intelligent observer will note Apple is sloooowly forced to increase
the capacity of its laughably primitive batteries - ever so slightly.

    iPhone 15 Pro 3,274 mAh
    iPhone 16 Pro 3,577 mAh +9.25%

iPhone 15 Pro Max 4,422 mAh
    iPhone 16 Pro Max 4,676 mAh +5.74%

These puny battery capacities is yet another indicator of why Apple is five
to ten years behind the competition in usability & lifetime functionality.
