Fake news spreader and spin doctor Steven Scharf is on the road again:

Many criticized the above test, which *showed the C1 modem to be 40%
faster* than Qualcomm's modem chip. Some noted that the results might
have been influenced by the location of the test, which was in Toronto, Canada.

The whole issue is completely irrelvant and ridiculous.

Nota bene: Nobody needs gateways to the internet.

    LOL

Given Apple has never made a best-in-class chip in their history,
what makes these Apple trolls so confident to 'diss Qualcomm, who has?

    a. Apple's C1 modem has no mmWave 5G
    b. Wi-Fi 6 Only (i.e., the C1 has no Wi-Fi 7)
    c. Fewer downlink carrier aggregation bands
    d. No Uplink Carrier Aggregation and Uplink MIMO
    e. Low performance under stress of urban environments
    f. Already has a baseband flaw
    <https://cyberscoop.com/apple-security-update-c1-modem-privacy-fixes-may-2025/>

In summary, the way Apple's (rather brilliantly unapologetic) Marketing
puts it, the Apple C1 can't do much, but it's efficient at doing nothing.

HINT: An Apple SOC with unpatchable flaws, is NOT best in class, no matter
how desperate you Apple trolls are to claim Apple's SOCs are not garbage.

If you can find even a SINGLE Apple best-in-class chip, let us all know.
We've been waiting for a loooooong time for Apple's design teams to do it.

All of Apple's "A" series chips are widely acknowledged as best-in-class.

    a. Apple's C1 modem has no mmWave 5G
    b. Wi-Fi 6 Only (i.e., the C1 has no Wi-Fi 7)

And you demonstrate your ignorance again.

The C1 modem isn't responsible for WiFi connectivity at all...

...which is the same for the Qualcomm Snapdragon X75 5G it was tested
    against.

HINT: nothing you have referenced claims an "unpatchable flaw" in anything.

Hey! Do you remember when you used to insist that Apple didn't actually
    do any design?

    :-)
