If you're seeing ads, and especially if you're seeing TARGETED ads,
you're on iOS (because Android doesn't show ads on it anymore).
If you're seeing ads, especially targeted ads - you're on iOS (not
Android).
Ask me how I know this.

OK, How do you know that Arlen?

Look nospam.
You have no dignity. No honor. No credibility. No remorse. No shame.

Yeah, and he has no books either!

Look. Either back up your claims of imaginary iOS functionality with cites, or forever prove that you _hate_ that if you're seeing ads, you're on iOS.

I'm not seeing personalised ads on iOS. What am I doing wrong?

Same question here. Never seen on my Apple devices over the last 17
years. What is wrong?

If the ads you see are for Ostrich Pillows, then they're personalized.

Oh no! Has my phone been hacked?!
Is there some open source, freeware, no ads, no calling to
mothership
anti-malware app I can run to fix my phone?
Hi Chris,
First off, I apologize for the broken-up URLs where I thought
people would be intelligent enough to figure that's to foil lousy
"badurl" nntp filters.
But apparently the iKooks completely whoosh on all obvious facts
and concentrate instead on what amounts to purposeful typos to fix
bad url filters (I have no control over what the nntp server
considers bad urls).
Anyway, I clearly understand that you "said" you're not seeing
_targeted_ ads, which, may or may not be true because you don't
know how to tell.
Nobody does.
But let's assume you're right for the first time in your entire
life, Chris (although I remember you claiming a PhD which you
clearly lied about).
Let's assume, Chris - that either you're too stupid to recognize a
targeted ad, or, even that by pure luck, you haven't actually
received targeted ads.
Good for you.
But that still doesn't change the main point one bit.
*If you're seeing _any_ ads, then you're on iOS* (not Android).
The reason has been supplied in the half dozen URLs that I
previously provided where the ad blocking functionality of iOS is
clearly crippled.

Hell, who knows. Maybe he's an android "developer".

And yet, never, not even once in the history of this newsgroup, have you or anyone else on this ng ever shown any fact from me to be wrong.
If you could, you would; yet you don't - because you can't.
With that, I put you back on plonk as I thought you had matured.

That's an actual lie. I and several others have shown you to be wrong
about many things.
You've also chickened out of proving all your "college degrees". All
you can show is photos of some (very old) text books. So all that can
be deduced is you're lying about that as well.
If you could, you would; yet you don't - because you can't.
What usually happens is you don't acknowledge it and then disappear
for a bit hoping that no-one will notice.

Spoken like the true child you are.

Chris,
I feel sorry for you that people called you stupid your whole life.
*One of the reasons you're stupid, Chris - is you have no memory.*
Your memory is atrocious since we have entire threads on this topic, where
I long ago emailed Steve my college degree information where he was told to not publish my name but he was welcome to publish the rest of the stuff.
You want that information - get it from Steve because you wouldn't
believe it if it came from me anyway - so that's why I sent it to Steve.
You're stupid Chris, because you don't even remember we did all this.
If you could, you would; yet you don't - because you can't.

Everything you say is _why_ people called you stupid your whole life.
The fact remains if you could find a single case of me stating an incorrect fact (which wasn't just a thinko or one that I didnt' immediately acknowledge, usually profusely as it could be by pure accident), you
wouild.
Just say what it is, Chris. Otherwise, you're lying (again), Chris.
*You don't list any wrong facts. Because you can't.*
My credibility is stellar, Chris.
Not because I'm smarter than all of you combined.
But because I don't say a fact if it's not well known already.
