I travelled on an overnight from Aswan to Cairo, departing at 18.35 on Thurs.3.1.91.
    The train was 3186-powervan-4xsleeper-club-3xsleeper-powervan.
I don't have any details handy about the loco class: IIRC a GM diesel, with
a wide body and two cabs.
My photos don't help much with the livery: they were taken in harsh light. The outline was contemporary European RIC.
The livery was a cream window band, light brown below the windows,
separated by a dark brown broad stripe.
There was more than one overnight train, of like style.
The meals were served on trays to my cabin.
Other trains in Egypt were silver (main trains) and green (local and minor ones).
Locos were silver (modern ones) and green (older ones).

I am trying to recreate the train I traveled on from Cairo to Aswan overnight.
Does anyone have pictures of this train?

Sorry for being very, very late. Carriages can be found here although it's extra-european:

I am not sure of the engine type
    or
    color scheme and need help!!
