Yes, 40Tude Dialog is a highly recommendable newsreader. But it runs
on Windows, while MacCafe is specifically designed for macOS.
yes, and for mac users, that's fine; whereas for windows users, it
seems that the current most popular newsreader, thunderbird
(betterbird, etc.) is problematic in ways that the far older classic
40tude dialog does not have any problems with . . . other newsgroups
have discussed issues with thunderbird at length, e.g. difficulties
with scoring, dns prefetch, etc. dialog is far easier to install, use
and maintain compared to any others
