How peculiar that despite Chad not being online since I posted the
previous link, someone has petitioned Imgur to tak it down?!
It takes two parties to remove an image: a petitioner, as you put it...
and the hosting company itself. If one were to petition Imgur to remove
an image which comported with the rules laid out in their user
agreement, they wouldn't comply.
So, why are you so insistent on flagrant violation of Imgur's terms of >service? If they're removing images you put there, it's because a)
someone complained that the images were against the rules AND b) Imgur >agreed.
Why are you disrespecting Imgur's wishes? If you want to host those
sorts of images, can't you have some integrity and use your own server,
or at least use a service which doesn't explicitly say that you cannot
use their service to host the kinds of images which (apparently -- I'm
not really following this nonsense) keep getting removed?
Stop making work for Imgur. Stop abusing their service! It should be
very clear by now that they don't want the kind of images you're posting
on their server. If it were otherwise, the images wouldn't keep getting >removed. Why won't you respect Imgur's wishes about how they want their >service used?
It isn't right what you're doing to Imgur...
