I just learned about Retro Guy's passing. My condolences go to Thom's family, especially to his wife.
I also discovered that despite having the feed, last posts on
rocksolid.* on my server (news.chmurka.net) are from September 2024.
The feed seems to work, but incoming posts don't appear. As I didn't
change the configuration (and I don't know about Thom changing his),
I believe something crashed and nobody discovered it until now.
And, sadly, there's nobody to fix it now.
Unless you know that Thom's wife decided to wipe these groups
(unlikely, but possible), I'll oblige then.

Not moderated. Reading and responding to your post on
rocksolid.nodes.help. Sorry, not an emacs user.
1. Does any of my peers carry these groups and is willing to add them to
our list?

I think it's a good idea to honor Retro Guy's legacy and continue
providing these groups, but right now I have no feeds for them. So:
1. Does any of my peers carry these groups and is willing to add them
to our list?
2. Is there anyone willing to set up peering of these groups (or even
better, of all hierarchies carried by my server; here's the peering
card: http://news.chmurka.net/peering.php)?
Unless you know that Thom's wife decided to wipe these groups
(unlikely, but possible), I'll oblige then.
Thank you.
From which servers did you get it?
E-S has it.
1. Does any of my peers carry these groups and is willing to add them to
our list?
Yes & done. Please add them to your side of our feed, too.
I'm still getting articles today in the 'news' group.
