Jason Scott, the textfiles guy, had tweeted January 9 that he had
third-hand information that Bruce Esquibel had died. Weeks later, one of Bruce's customers said she heard that he'd actually died last November.

I have seen no formal announcement from his family, nor an obituary.

I thought ripco had other staff, but it seems not.

Here are some old stories about him:

Whatever you do, do not get the jab.

If you do you might join the Branch Covidians in their medical heaven.

Sad to hear this news, thank you and Adam for your responses.

Wish I would have taken him up on an offer to feed his spool that had a lot of history when I had the opportunity. :(

If you track down his friends and family perhaps one of them might still
    have access to the data.

    It's worth a try.

Will see if I can get in touch with Jason Scott, seems he's got some contact: https://archive.org/details/ripcoslaststand

Bruce was a really cool guy. Like much in life, wish I had known of him sooner and had more opportunity to converse.
