  • Moderators address for ffm.*

    Hi all,

    The current setup for the moderation address of ffm.admin is ffm-admin
    at moderators.arcornews.de which is no longer a valid domain. It is the
    only moderated newsgroup in the ffm.* hierarchy.

    % host moderators.arcornews.de
    Host moderators.arcornews.de not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

    Do you happen to know the new address?
    By the way, is the ffm.* hierarchy still alive?

    Doesn't seem so.

    Thanks for the link. The hierarchy is mentioned as "historic" and
    empty, so it is safe to remove the ffm.* entry from the moderators
    file shipped with INN.

    Rather interesting, it doesn't exist in the moderation alias file.

    Yep.

    "ffm.arcornews.de and all information (checkgroups, key, ...) are gone.
    The former maintainer has retired. Groups are empty."

    (Confirmed by the former maintainer 03/2023 via private mail exchange.)
