be used to help keep your active file in sync with the "standard"
Usenet groups. This newsgroup list is in the format expected by such software.

That line break should not be there. It is not part of the master checkgroups file. I'm not sure where it is being introduced....

The newsreader may add it.
I see it via GNUS' default (formatted) view but it disappears when
looking at the raw message.
