• Thunderbird displays wrong message when clicked?

From immibis@21:1/5 to All on Thu Feb 29 11:50:05 2024
It's happened several times now that I click on a message in the list of messages, and get a different nearby message displayed. Sometimes I
can't even get Thunderbird to display the message I want to at all.

Anyone else seen this bug and know a solution or know anything about it?

I tried "Repair Folder", to no avail.

I usually select the "unread" quick filter, but turning that off doesn't resolve the issue.

When I used TB, hitting down then up on my keyboard usually
    reloaded the message.

That is caused by corruption of the database file. You can try compacting
the folders to see if it is corrected. When you download headers and/or messages in TB then wait one minute before viewing any messages. At least
that is what worked for me. YMMV.
