I had not known that Luxon's apartment is literally across the roadMore desperation from Rich. No real news, nothing of value or substance - just petty personal attacks.
from Parliament - no wonder there was a little derision when he used a >government limousine to be delivered such a short distance to

Better talk to Winston then. He used to live on Mulgrave St (near
Thorndon Quay) and insisted in taking taxis to and from Parliament. It
would have been a 10 minute walk. The taxi took 20-30 minutes in
week-day mornings in peak-hour traffic. He also insisted that the
taxi reverse up the drive to his front door (there was no turning
room), and Winston did not do 20-metre walks from his front door to
the footpath.

Indeed. One recent Prime Minister used to get his haircut in Central Wellington - a bit further away than Mulgrave St; I think it was in
Ballance St), and always took a Crown limo which annoyed people by
double parking while it waited . . it was explained as necessary for
security reasons - perhaps the same applies to Luxon and Peters; do
you think?

I doubt if John Key was affected by that - the real security threats
came when Ardern was Prime Minister from disinformation campaigns from
the far-right.
