The government is getting desperate to justify its tax cuts - but in
this case I can see Simeon Brown putting a toll of the Mt Vic tunnel
and all entries to the Motorway to Petone or Porirua to pay for a 4km
folly tunnel from the Basin Reserve to the Motorway. We can expect bad decisions on top of bad decisions from this government - they will tax
whatever they can to move tax away from high income earners towards
    all users of services.

Yet another post full of anti-Government rhetoric. There is no such
tunnel and planning has just begun. If it is ever approved then
decisions about funding will be made then. Your conjecture is so
premature it is absurd and irrational - and so is the rest of your
    post.

I have no problem with toll roads and toll tunnels, these days the task of collecting the tolls is trivial and non-invasive. Why do you oppose them?
There is no desperation in this government, only in their critics. The government is implementing what the majority of voters want - democracy finally, after a 6 year wait.
