    Interesting that the coastline is declared 'pristine' yet sand has been
    taken for something like 80 years. If 80 years of dredging hasn't caused notable damage, then why stop it? Please explain..........

    Try actually reading the article - trenches in the sea bed,
    representations made that turn out to be false, trenches in the sea
    bed - and now an attempt to by-pass legitimate concerns by the
    fast-track so they can ignore everything officially . . .
