which is a link of the top article.

"Labour leader Chris Hipkins has criticised the Government's plan to reduce spending on free school lunches, saying the cutbacks will mean students'
    needs are not met."

"Associate Education Minister David Seymour says the government will feed
the same number of school students and extend the scheme to 10,000
preschoolers - while spending $107 million less than the Labour Government -
    by ordering items in bulk."

"After months of speculation, Seymour has promised $478 million of funding
for the school lunches programme, and confirmed it will continue in its
current form - with dozens of schools cooking meals in house - for the
    rest of the year."

So who do we believe, Chris Hipkins or David Seymour? (Rich, no need to
    answer)

What has got lost in all of this is the the Minister has been pursuaded that maybe lunches at school are a good idea and a redesign will save $107m while being fit for purpose.

Throwing down a challenge for MSM.

What is needed is an unbiased reporter to stay on the case and see what the redesigned model is and evaluate it.
