    I agree, Gordon, this was a dreadful episode; Posie Parker should also
    have been charged (with different offences) but I suspect it is better
    that she just left New Zealand. Neither of the two opposing groups
    came out well from their conflict.

    That it took 18 months to conclude this case indicates we continue to
    have far too long waiting periods before matters are coming to trial,
    but I agree that in general, our media is doing a good job with
    impartial reporting on matters such as this.

    What should Posie Parker be charged with? She was an invited guest,
    duped on in a public place.
