So, the Google-News Wars have reached NZ
<https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/google-threatens-to-remove-links-to-new-zealand-news-and-ditch-local-news-agreements-as-threats-ramp-up-over-fair-digital-news-bargaining-bill-media-insider/4J6HACJUV5D6NK427OVJNHE3JE/>.
Local news organizations want Google to pay them for linking to them,
and Google is threatening to simply walk away from NZ news completely.
The local news organizations describe this as “bullying”. But if they need Google more than Google needs them, then don’t they need to pay Google?
And if it’s the other way round, that it’s Google who needs the news organizations more, then if Google stops linking to news articles, it
is Google who will suffer more than the news organizations.
