    The headline reads

"Landlord fails in bid to evict 80-year-old tenant over $5000 unpaid rent"

So how much over is it? The assumption might be $100 to $500 (in round
    figures)

    Reading on we have

"An 80-year-old woman who has agreed to pay her landlord an extra $100
a fortnight for the next 45 fortnights to clear her rent debt..."

Which rings "alarm" bells as 100 times 45 is $4500. Not over $5000 and not
    even close to $5000.

Then there is conformation in the article, "The woman was before the
Tenancy Tribunal recently, owing $4489 in rent arrears for a Clover Park
home". Which pretty close to the $4500 calculated above.

Finally " The adjudicator said it was unlikely that she would fall behind on rent again, but issued a conditional termination notice - which meant the tenancy would be terminated if rent was more than two working days
    late."

Message, tenants have to pay the rent and this laspe of rent payment is
going to be your only one without an evection. Good call, unlike some of the details in the article.
