The point of reflection is to consider an issue from different
viewpoints, whether personal, or in relation to the situation we find >ourselves. While the article appears to be based on religious script,
which is much more readily accepted in the USA than here in NZ, there
is little difference really in that compassion as a concept has a
similar meaning and suitability of application in both countries, but
in both countries we have a government that appears to reject the
concept of compassion almost entirely - there are considerable
similarities between the ostensible leader of our government, for

But aside from personalities, look at actual policies - the most
significant common feature of the NZ government and the new regime in
the USA is the total lack of compassion.
