• Nuclear power in the Green narrative

    In the climate change narrative there has been very little, if any, mention
    in the main stream media of the use nuclear power.

    Well here we have what looks like the Japanese and the main stream media metioning the use of nuclear power.

    Some would say that some common sense has arrived.

    "Climate change, energy security, rising demand and industry encouragement
    are all helping push nuclear back onto the agenda."

    Whilst nuclear fission power may not be a smart idea for this country (at least not unless there are some safety improvements), there are some countries that will invest in it.
    Perhaps they are smart enough to know that unless they do so the climate emergency idiots will try to close down their economy like the fools want to do here.
    Nuclear fusion poser, however, is a different thing. Latest estimate is 10 years to the first commercial plant. Prototypes already exist and are working in labs.
    We should not hesitate to adopt that technoloy when it becomes available.

    That is correct. From a Climate Change perspective electricity
    generated from current Nuclear reactors is 100% green.
