    Indeed we keep learning, and recent events confirm that global warming
    is indeed real, and also that extremes of fire, flooding and ice melt
    are with us, causing problems for farming, for some settlements, and
    requiring greater levels of maintenance and rebuilding at levels not
    previously anticipated.
