Well it seems there is no such emergency. https://centrist.nz/behind-the-scarelines-sometimes-big-numbers-dont-really-mean-much/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=26-2-2025&_kx=r-9yRwOooklJ4fu8JfYI0L2yjNQJoEDhB4PntHsLeWo.VYfxNg
Better to spend the money mitigating the climate changes that are occuring.
We obviously cannot stop the changes.
We are not causing them unless, for the very first time, somebody produces scientific evidence that says we are.

Fires, floods, land slips, glaciers disappearing, and more fires -
they are happening with greater frequency than previously . . .

It is not obvious that we cannot stop at least some part of the
changes, and not even trying is potentially even more expensive for
    our country.

I would rather believe scientists than a website that is part of the
Atlas Network - currently favoured by Trump, Luxon and Seymour!

Off topic. We know the climate is changing, do try to keep on track.

Nobody is saying we should not mitigate the damage, you are still off topic.

There are no scientists that have *ever* proved that there is a climate emergency - so find one or get on topic.

The increasing incidence of such adverse climate events does to many
people represent an emergency, particularly as it has been shown that
human actions are making it worse. But don't worry Tony - with your
limited future you may well not have to try to survive adverse weather
events that may shorten the lives of generations younger than you.
"Wot Me Worry!" could be your slogan, "Right", Tony?

No such thing has been shown - provide evidence, but you cannot - it does not exist.

Filthy, racist abuse removed. Rich is a cretin and a sociopath - a very rare combination but evident in his/her/its case.
