That is true of all countries - pre human periods there were no human
religions - what is different about New Zealand? Certainly there have
been religious beliefs in New Zealand for far more than 200 years; it
may of course depend on what you consider "organised religion" . . .
But, like any monotheist, he persists in believing that his sky fairy
is the only true sky fairy, all the other sky fairies are false ...
totally oblivious to the irony of holding such a position.

Tamaki and Seymour share some aspects of their respective religions -
the bit about profiting from others and contempt for people with other
beliefs; so it was amusing to see David Seymour carefully not mention
the similarities between himself and Tamaki and defend them on free
speech grounds; instead he attacked them for being "un-Kiwi" - at the
end of the day both Seymour and Tamaki, in their different ways have
most in common with respect to building their support from a similar
nutter fringe - they are effectively competitors for idiots prepared
to follow their 'doctrines"; both are "un-Kiwi".
