The Government has said that it wishes to rise more money for better roads
and at the same time get the present system of RUC revamped.
Once again the response to this will be; It is going to cost us more
headines. Not are we willing to pay for better roads.
Dropping the fuel tax entirely would get rid of a lot of the incentive to move to alternative power sources.
Not if the RUC rate is high enough on EVs.
