    Time moves on, and with it development. Trouble is that the publics mind is stuck in the 80's. The geo political world was vet different, as were the
    wars. The Cold war was the war of choice. China was a third world country
    and Uncle Sam was King.

    NZ needs a paper on what and where we should go, for without energy the
    economy will fail.

    I am concerned about current technology in earthquake prone countries. When the new fusion reactors are available things will be very different. They work OK in the lab but production sizes are not yet available.
    Nevertheless we should keep our minds open and if safety concerns are manageable then why not? Nothing is 100% safe anyway.
