I bought a house with an old Roper stove that I plan to get rid of. I'm guessing it's a 40's or 50' model. I've seen completely restored ones that sell for a lot of money. I am in New Jersey.
Does an old stove like this have any value as an antique or to people who do restore them?
Most likely I will end up putting it out front with a "free" sign on it and someone will take it for scrap metal. But I was just wondering if it might be of any value other than as just scrap metal.
