Lots of horror/SF stuff ( messages from the future, beings from another dimension, and Christian history ) in a pleasing package that's part zombie move part The Thing.
Success of the film requires building a dramatic momentum and tension throughout . This it does. No comic relief.
Pleasence is a priest among the academics who's pissed at his church for hiding secrets while falling back on his faith. Wong does well projecting a controlled edgy energy. Good use of the babes.
Pretty good horror atmosphere with strong ending make this enjoyable. 7+/10 unclean spirits
