Harry Potter Trailer Shows Off Star-Studded Cast for Audiobook Series

Pottermore Publishing has shared the official cast and trailer for
the upcoming audiobook adaptation of J.K. Rowling's beloved Harry
Potter novel series. The first installment, Harry Potter and the
Sorcerer's Stone, is scheduled to be released on November 4, 2025,
exclusively on Audible. Each of the remaining six English-language
audiobooks will launch monthly.

"These brand-new productions of the original seven stories by J.K.
Rowling will showcase the listening experiences as never heard
before - offering immersive audio entertainment through high-quality
sound design in Dolby Atmos, stunning scoring, captivating
performances from A-list actors, original music, and real-world
sound capture," reads the audiobook series' description.

Who is leading the Harry Potter audiobook cast?
The Harry Potter audiobook cast will feature the voices of Emmy
winner Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, Golden Globe Award
winner Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore, Oscar winner Riz Ahmed as
Professor Snape, BAFTA Award nominee Michelle Gomez as Professor
McGonagall, and with Laurence Olivier Award nominee Cush Jumbo OBE
as the narrator. For the first three installments, Frankie
Treadaway, Max Lester, and Arabella Stanton have been tapped to
play Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger, respectively.
As for the remaining installments, Jaxon Knopf, Rhys Mulligan, and
Nina Barker-Francis will take over the respective roles of Harry,
Ron, and Hermione. Additional cast members will be announced this
fall.

Following the released of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone,
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will arrive on December 16,
2025; Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban releases January 13,
2026; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire releases February 10, 2026;
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix releases March 10, 2026;
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince releases April 14, 2026;
culminating with the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
on May 12, 2026.

The Harry Potter seven-book series was first adapted into eight films
that earned over $7 billion at the worldwide box office. Besides the
audiobook series, Harry Potter is also getting a 10-season series
adaptation from HBO, which had just started its production. The TV
show is set to debut sometime in 2026, with newcomers Dominic
McLaughlin, Alastair Stout, and Arabella Stanton set to lead the new
live-action cast.
