    I watched:

    WE ARE THE 80'S

    WE ARE THE 80'S

    WE ARE THE 80'S

AFTER BABYLON 5, WHAT HAPPENED TO LONDO AND THE CENTAURI REPUBLIC?
One of Babylon 5's biggest loose ends was the fate of Centauri Prime. What happened to Londo, Vir, and Sheridan's Interstellar Alliance? After the
science fiction classic wrapped, spin-off books revealed the rest of the
story - let me tell you what happened!

DID THIS ALL WORK OUT HOW YOU THOUGH IT WOULD?
Should parts of this story have ended up on screen? https://youtu.be/9pUWFJgBc5Q?si=BUTqn9tDjODP1HMi

    CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP WAS INSANE
Today at long last we're going to be taking a look at Celebrity Wife Swap,
and it was honestly insane. While there were minor changes to the format the show is pretty much the same thing we've come to expect with Wife Swap. Also Flavor Flav is on this one so that itself is a treat. Anyways enjoy. https://youtu.be/8JouMVze80A?si=PdJBWQQ8gRc2zngH

DROP DEAD FRED - PART ONE (TEASER) - This Aged Great! https://youtu.be/xXpGkaRfP_M?si=WKqfmlNtWaVhUg1B

THE WORST SUPERHERO MOVIE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN! - THE PUMAMAN (1980)
On this episode of Weird Movies With Mark, I talk about The Pumaman (1980). Quite possibly the WORST superhero movie ever made. https://youtu.be/F2a2I1eXbIs?si=6yV_GDPF4G01sU4F

    FAMILY GUY:
"Drunk with Power". Peter swaps lives with Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and is forced to make a ruling on the constitutionality of gay marriage; meanwhile, Brett tries to become friends with Quagmire, Cleveland, and Joe

[eye roll] Fuck this shit. I quit after the attempt at a Superfriends opening spoof.

    KRAPOPOLIS:
"Baby Boom". Aphrodite's Fertility Fest is here and baby fever is at an all time high. Deliria is convinced it's nothing but a scam, but Stupendous may
be falling for it; Tyrannis tries to relax at a bathhouse but it's proving difficult to let loose.

I liked Aphrodite making her stage appearance in a giant clam shell and it being a scam to sell baby shower gifts. I also liked the joke of Stupendous using a mirror to reflect Aphrodite's beams, but it just made it pregnant.

    What did you watch?

    I got through:

    soaps: Y&R - Thur's & Fri's ep. Sharon and Filis[sic!] continue to
struggle in captivity, variously bickering and working together - the
best bit in these episodes was Filis and Sharon waking up in each
other's arms (Filis is a hugger!!), and then recoiling as soon as they
realized they were in each other's arms! The mysterious kidnapper
(voice) lets them make one phone call, so Sharon and Filis call Nick and Summer, respectively (Summer wasn't in that ep so she wasn't shown), to
make up some story about what happened to them, but Nick and Daniel
aren't buying the story as there are too many coincidences/oddities.
Billy and Sally return to town - Billy is immediately suspicious of the
Filis story, while Sally catches up with Audra who tells Sally about her
past with Holden. Also, more Adam and Chelsea crap [vomit!].
GH - Fri's ep. A somewhat disappointing ep. We are once again
subjected to awful NuKristina (man I wish this incarnation of the
character would just *die*!!) as she gets into it with Ava and Ric (Ric
got some great shots in on Kristina!) in front of Sonny, and Alexis and NuNuNuMolly - when her parents get into it, Molly flees, and later
admits to Cody that Molly hates that her parents hate each other.
Meanwhile, a supplier deal for Deception goes up in smoke, forcing Maxie
to consider doing a deal with Jenz Sidwell (that Lucy is pushing), but
then Sasha shows up to remind them all that Sidwell kidnapped her. Carly
(and Olivia) want to offer Sasha a job, so she doesn't have to work at
    the Quartermaines anymore.

golf - Young guy Joe Highsmith (played golf at Pepperdine), who had
barely made the cut for this tournament, came out of nowhere to defeat
Jacob Bridgeman and Jake Knapp (Knapp had a terrible shot at the
waterline of one hole, hitting it back into the water, which pretty much
killed his lead) to win the Cognizant Classic (what used to be the
Jackie Gleason Classic) for his first PGA win.

Murder at the Lighthouse (recorded off Lifetime on Feb. 23) - This was
OK, but was a not so subtle iteration of "Misery". Abused wife of a
disgraced cop (recent Lifetime staple Skye Coyne, who is up there with
Brianna Cohen as Lifetime's most recent "It Girl") tries to flee to
Canada, taking a boat across Lake Superior. But the ship (and the
captain) are lost on the journey, and she washes up on shore where she
is rescued by a kind of a hermit lady (Shelli Manzoline) who is a
lighthouse keeper. It's pretty clear early on that the hermit lady is
stalling our heroine's escape. Meanwhile, the abusive husband shows up,
and when our heroine isn't there, the lighthouse keeper brutally murders
him. Now they're wrapped up in murder! which seems to be another reason
to keep our heroine around. "Misery"-based wackiness eventually
ensues... At least this flick was pretty good at ratcheting up the tension.

    What did you watch?

    I watched:

The Host (HBO) 2006 movie written and directed by Bong Joon-ho. Song
Kang-ho stars as a father trying to rescue his daughter from a sea
monster (that also goes on land) and Go Ah-sung plays his daughter.
It's an OK movie. I was a little caught off guard when the movie was in
Korean since I'd only ever watched the dubbed version before. And the
first scene in the movie is in English, so I wasn't expecting to
suddenly have to start to read sub titles.

Snowpiercer (4K disc) 2013 movie written and directed by Bong Joon-ho.
Chris Evans stars as one of a handful of human survivors living on a
train forever circling a postapocalyptic frozen Earth. He leads the
oppressed survivors at the end of the train as they battle their way to
the front of the train. Song Kang-ho also stars as a one of the
designers of the train and he is reunited with Go Ah-sung who once again
    plays his daughter.

Parasite (4K disc) 2019 movie written and directed by Bong Joon-ho.
Song Kang-ho stars as a father who along with his family one by one con
their way into the lives of an affluent family. The son and daughter
pretend to be tutors, the wife takes the maid's job and the husband
becomes the new chauffeur. Sure there are already some people doing
these jobs, but they are easy enough for the family to deal with, one
way or another. Soon the family of scammers are enjoying the good life
until the original maid returns and reveals a huge secret. I knew Bong
Joon-ho directed both Snowpiercer and Parasite, but I never watched both
movies back-to-back before. Watching them back-to-back you can see he's telling stories about class relations in different settings. Based on
the trailers I assume his upcoming "Mickey 17" will follow the same
    theme, only in space.

The Academy Awards - Every year I *try* to watch all the films nominated
for Best Picture / Director, and all the movies with acting nominations.
This year I tried my best, but I wasn't able to see a lot of the
nominated movies. It seemed like the theaters this year were putting a
lot less effort in making the nominated films available to see. In
particular there was one movie I didn't get a chance to see, and that
    stupid movie swept the night.

The actual viewing experience was a nightmare. For whatever reason the
signal from ABC was pixelated and kept freezing up. So I switched over
to Hulu's live broadcast. But a few times I tried to switch back to ABC
but Xfinity went from pixelization, to not being able to tune the
channel at all. So I settled on just watching it on Hulu, when suddenly
it just stopped with a message the live stream had ended. So I headed
back to Xfinity and tried to play the DVR recording I was making in real
time, but that wouldn't play back either. I won't even get into
Xfinity's joke of tech support. I was eventually able to get the DVR
recording to play back, but I wonder how many other people had a similar experience trying to watch/stream the show.
