This name may not mean anything to some around here, but I've known
about Hauser since his days on Y&R in the late 70s. He was pretty
ubiquitous as an early-to-mid 1980s TV guest star, and apparently again
    in the 1990s.

FTR, he is also the father of Cole Hauser (Yellowstone), which I either
didn't know or had forgotten about.

Yes he was. I liked him a lot. What wasn't he in?

He made that cheapo Canadian action show Lightning Force watchable. I
could have sworn that was a Montreal-based production but IMDb sez
Vancouver. Speaking of which, I had no idea Guylaine St-Onge (Marie)
    died two decades ago.

I knew that, and there's a strong family resemblence.

We’ve been commiserating over on the Airwolf groups as he played Harlan Jenkins the evil pilot of the evil Airwolf II aka the evil Redwolf.
Basically KARR to Knight Rider’s KITT.
