• Humanitarian Jonathon Majors gets movie released

Hollywood loves a good story about a psychotic lead character. When
Magazine Dreams premiered at Sundance in January 2023, Hollywood thought it
had hit the jackpot with Jonathon Major's portrayal of a deranged obsessive bodybuilder Killian Maddox desperate for recognition exhibiting psychotic behavior, terrifying and abusing Jessie (Haley Bennett) who dates him.

On the strength of this performance, he was cast in Creed III and then
as Kang, to appear in several Marvel movies.

But then it turned out... it wasn't a performance. He's truly got rage simmering not too far beneath the surface. He's battered woman after
woman after woman and had gotten several victims to help cover up his
crimes so he could pursue acting success. It seems that some producers
were well aware of whom he truly was.

Eventually he got convicted of charges that had been scaled well back
from felonies with respect to one girlfriend. Oddly, despite his
reputation, he has no trouble attracting women.

Marvel would fire him and Magazine Dreams sat on the shelf.

Well, no more. Briarcliffe Entertainment agreed to distribute the movie.

Villains prosper. But, uh, believe women.

The specific woman in question being Meagan Good who, like his previous
steady girlfriends, was with him whilst his crimes against other women
were being covered up and mitigated.

I'm formally announcing my intention to boycott this film by not
attending any showing or buying any form of the film. (Admittedly, this
is an empty gesture on my part since I wouldn't have gone to see it
anyway nor would I have purchased the DVD or BluRay or paid to see it
    stream.)
