• NY Times: Fetuses Are Children, But Only Sometimes

From BTR1701@21:1/5 to All on Sun Mar 23 20:54:14 2025
When it's politically convenient, fetuses are children.

    NY Times when peddling abortions:

    "Fetus"

NY Times when peddling illegal immigration:

    "Unborn child"

'Unborn child' doesn't easily fit into the first headline, and "Will My
Fetus Be a Citizen" lands somewhere between unclear and creepy.

Fine. You win. You've identified a way to end birthright citizenship.
With foetal personhood, one is a citizen of the place of conception.
Now, sex tourism will replace birth tourism.

You're going to have to register each boink with the local vital
statistics registrar in case a child is born.

No different than when the NYT is talking about abortion.

I'm sure many would prefer "the *sin* of abortion".
