The other thing there was a lot of in the 1980s was low-
budge[t] sword and sorcery flicks - there was one I saw on TV
back in the early 80s while I was babysitting that I still
have never tracked down!

I literally can't. I do not remember who was in it (it was likely
nobody well-known). It had really low budget EFX (things like
turning the screen green-tinted to show magic), and may have been

I want to say I had a very similar case to this. In the one I saw, it
was a family that go through some kind of portal. I want to say a
pyramid was involved.
