Wow, hadn't heard about this. Has potential, especially with Cardellini, although the appeal of these movies has always been the grotesque killings and gratuitous gore and nubile 20-something girls and their nekkid nudity. Not
sure how much of that would be allowed by the NBC censors on the Peacocks.
I'm also not sure what kind of story they'll be able to tell without messing with the franchise's known continuity. In the movies, Pamela Voorhees only
took up slaughtering teenagers after some camp counselors let Jason (supposedly) drown and we've already seen that portrayed in the movie. She wasn't a killer before that and she was dead after that, so what story is
there left to tell about her?

Another series that seems to be taking forever to get to its second season. I guess this is just new reality with TV these days.
