From Rhino@21:1/5 to All on Mon Apr 14 14:17:40 2025
Jim Browning, an Irish YouTuber with a passion for fighting scammers,
got information from a couple of whistle-blowers that turned into a mass
arrest of over 2000 scammers in the UAE (United Arab Emirates),
including the Chinese gang members who led the scamming operation. This
    video gives the details:

Yes, I did. I agree it takes a more aggressive attitude to scammers than
most governments do but it has one unfortunate shortcoming: it isn't
actually a true story. Browning's video is about *real* arrests and deportations.

Of just hack the scammers. There are a number of videos of people
hacking into the scammers computers and having fun with them. Even one
hacked into the camera system in their room and was able to watch
their reactions as he amped up his taunting of them.

Yes, I've seen some of those videos too. Jim Browning and others have
done them. Unfortunately, the events in those videos merely show the
scammers being embarrassed but NOT shut down. They're free to carry on
with their sordid business, presumably after making their computer
systems more secure. The countries hosting these activities rarely take
much interest in actually stopping the scammers so the scamming goes on
and more people get ripped off, humiliated or both.

The Beekeeper (2024) is a terrible "revenge" movie; most of the cops
and bystanders killed by the man are innocent.

Now compare that to Peppermint (2019), where the woman kills
only bad guys, a proper revenge movie.
