    Yesterday, just soaps:

soaps: DOOL - Just pathetic! - Stephanie and Alex stumble upon Xander
and Sarah, just after Xander found out about Philip's fraud, and rather
than step up and admit that she knew, Sarah lets Xander berate a
basically innocent Alex and Stephanie instead. I'm starting to hope
something awful happens to Sarah! Philip tells Kate that their fraud is exposed, but that Xander doesn't know about Kate's involvement.
GH - I kind of enjoyed this - the Deception gals fire Natalia (Booby
Vista) for being a lying liar, and Sonny fully backs them up, which
outrages Natalia (pretty justifiably so in the case of Sonny) - I'm
hoping now Natalia plots her revenge! REVENGE!! against Sonny. Jenz
Sidwell pleads his son's Marco's case with Alexis, who mostly rolls her
eyes at Sidwell. Jordan fills Anna in on her plan to go undercover with Sidwell. Carly insists upon going with Sonny on his trip to L.A. for
heart surgery. Josslyn finds Emma Scorpio in a garbage dumpster - rather
than be grateful for the rescue, Emma continues to be resentful of Joss.

And that was pretty much it. Today, I go back to work for the last 3 and
half weeks of classes in the academic calendar.

    What did you watch?

I watched SURREALESTATE. First episode of the new season where in the
team is still broken up with multiple people off living their separate
lives. Meanwhile a rich guy out fishing brings up a small lockbox with
a creepy toy inside that apparently held a ghost that possesses him.
Turns out the ghost was locked away by Luke Roman's dad and he wants
revenge. Only Roman's dad has died so he will be going after Roman.

I never heard of this before. From the name, at first I thought this
was going to be a housing themed reality show.

    What did you watch?

    I watched:

The Equalizer - "Sins of the Father" - An old CIA friend on the run is kidnapped and his adopted daughter comes to Team Equalizer for help.
But it turns out this CIA agent and his highly trained daughter, while
on the run have been using their skills to help people, as they move
from city to city. This was obviously a backdoor pilot for a spinoff
series that I think may have already been picked up. In this episode
they left behind a trail of dead bodies littered through New York City.
They never comment on how they just kill people left and right, then
walk away from the corpses. And the closest thing to a consequence is sometimes the police will sneer and say they don't like vigilantes. How
does she avoid going up on *multiple* murder charges on a *weekly*
basis?!? And this episode in particular, it had to be multiple dozens
of people they killed, then just casually walked away. It's not like the
dead bodies come with a signed confession note saying they had it coming.

Matlock - I caught up on the last 4 episodes. SPOILERS!

"The Johnson Case" - Matty continues her investigation into who at the
firm hid the evidence and narrows it down to Olympia and Julian. Just
as Matty clears Julian, it's revealed "The Johnson Case" that Olympia
has been working on in secret this episode was really Olympia piecing
together that Matty isn't who she says she is. Olympia confronts Matty
    at the end.

"I Was That, Too" - Olympia basically takes Matty hostage, although
Matty offers no resistance. Olympia takes Matty's phone, forces her to
text her husband that everything is OK, then locks Matty in a room and interrogates her. The case of the week involves a very pregnant (about
to pop any second) woman trying to get away from her husband which
forces Olympia to reluctantly work with Matty to win the case. The case
    itself was beyond ridiculous.

"Tricks of the Trade - Part One and Part Two" Olympia and Matty make a
deal where Olympia will let Matty go and not press charges and Matty
will also not press charges for the false imprisonment, and Olympia will
do her own investigations to clear Julian. Except by the end Julian is
not cleared. He admits his guilt and begs Olympia for forgiveness. At
this point he doesn't know about Matty's involvement, and she's not
forgiving anything! But they add an extra little cliffhanger by having
Matty's grandson's biological father show up saying he wants to be in
the boy's life. At this rate I have no idea what they are going to do
    with season 2.

LOL. It's on the SyFy channel. It's a show based around dealing with
ghosts so that the business can sell more real estate. I've been
enjoying it and was pleasantly surprised when they announced and
    actually filmed a third season.
