• Watson season 1

    From Adam H. Kerman@21:1/5 to All on Mon May 12 05:43:31 2025
I stuck with Watson all season. It was a little better than I expected
it to be. I'm not going to discuss the plot at this time but if you
haven't been watching it and you'd like to, all critical open plot
    points were wrapped up.

A bit of location shooting, that's the interior of the one of the two cars
    on the famous Dusquesne Incline.

I don't know what campus they use for UHOP but I know there's a huge
hospital complex at the east end of the east busway, so that's probably
    it.

So, was the guy with Kacey Rohl supposed to be Sherlock? Or was he just "Sherlock-y". And was this Kacey Rohl's first episode, or has she been
in previous ones? (Note: I only saw last night's episode as background
noise - I did not have the sound turned on...)

That's Shinwell (Ritchie Coster), a criminal and an ally of Sherlock's
from London, some sort of grown-up Baker Street Irregular, maybe. We've
    gotten little of his backstory.

She was on three episodes near the beginning, introduced in episode 2,
then three episodes at the end, according to IMDb. Her character has yet
to be named in script although since Shinwell figured out who her
chronically ill daughter was earlier in the season, there's no way he
didn't figure out who she was.

Lacey Rohl (her character doesn’t have a name) has been in about half the episodes. In several, she was just waiting in the lobby, pretending to be a pharmaceutical rep and Watson wouldn’t talk to her. In others she was a secret evil doer secretly working for the secret Moriarity, giving the
    others their secret evil orders.

Note that this is the first episode I managed to successfully intentionally record.

In this continuity, Holmes and Moriarty went over wrecking back Falls (I
knew spellcheck would never get that right) and Watson jumped in after
them. Months later when he came to Watson was told that both Holmes and Moriarty were dead. But he doesn’t seem to have ever demanded proof, and
when Moriarty showed up alive, nobody brought up the possibility of Holmes being alive. I’m not sure who you mean by the guy that was with her. If you mean, the older kind of disheveled guy she was extorting then no he doesn’t seem to have an analog. Shindell Johnson (his characters name) was a crook
who worked with Sherlock and Watson in London and was there when Watson
woke up. I don’t think anybody you saw last night could be Sherlock because they’re all known to Watson. And we know Sherlock isn’t a girl because Watson took it for granted that Sherlock could’ve had a son with Irene
    Adler.

I have! I've been screaming from the rooftops that Sherlock is going to
    turn up alive.

What was with the shirt at the end of the episode. I get it had
Moriarty's logo, but where did Watson get it from? At first I thought
it belonged to his new lady friend (Tika Sumpter), but now I'm thinking not.

OK, I finally got a chance to go back and watch it. I guess they’re at his place. He comes up with the shirt out of nowhere and puts it in a box and sticks it under the bed and the box is labeled “HOLMES“

I haven’t got the slightest idea what any of that meant.
