    Fringe S3E13 'Immortality'

Fox Publicity sez: "As the story shifts back to life "over there," the
absence of Colonel Broyles shifts the dynamic of the Fringe Team as they investigate a bioterrorist armed with an insect that has a taste for
human flesh. Meanwhile, alternate Olivia is reunited with her beau, and Walternate remains determined to save his world but discovers there are
certain lines he will not cross."

The glyphs for this episode spell out: ROMAD
    ("Romad"?)

While talking to his fellow diner, Dr. Silva states that he is quoting
Samuel Clemens. Samuel Clemens is the real name of Mark Twain,
suggesting that in the alternate universe, Samuel Clemens never used the
pen name Mark Twain-- another way in which the alternate universe is
    very similar, but slightly changed.

One of the flights being announced as cancelled due to weather as
Fauxlivia is leaving the terminal is "Gotham Air 3 bound for St. Louis".

    Fringe S3E14 '6B'

IMDb sez: A series of Fringe events leads the team to the home of a
woman grieving over the death of her husband, while Peter and Olivia
make an effort to repair the emotional rift between them.

The glyphs for this episode spell out: HEARTS The glyph for the S has a
small heart in place of the usual small circle.

Dr. Walter Bishop: There's no such thing as ghosts.
Peter Bishop: That's where you draw the line? Ghosts?
Dr. Walter Bishop: Belly and I used to argue about this constantly --
what happens to the body's energy after death. William theorized we
should be able to capture that energy using what he called Soul Magnets.
Peter Bishop: It's a catchy name.
Dr. Walter Bishop: He said if he were right, he would contact me from
The Great Beyond. I haven't gotten the call yet.

Peter Bishop: Did I ever tell you about the time Walter did his
rendition of Never, Never Going to Give You Up?
Olivia Dunham: No, but I actually love Barry White.
Peter Bishop: He was only wearing his socks at the time. Doing the
Hustle, there was a lot going on.
(There ain't enough "NOPE!" in two universes for that!)

Mrs Marcello, the lady fleeing the "possessed" apartment building is
headed for the Schrödinger Hotel. People in the apartment building are
surely dying. Perhaps Mrs. Marcello likes her chances better in the Schrödinger "box", where, like Schrödinger's cat, one might be alive and dead.

    What Did You Watch?

I had to finalize and submit grading for the year, so I didn't watch
anything "fun" yesterday. (I should finish out "Andor" today!)

So what I did get through yesterday was...:

soaps: DOOL - Wed's ep. The most interesting thing in this ep was Belle questioning Alex about Xander's (presumed!) attack on Philip - Alex
didn't help out Xander much here! The rest of this was either (fake!!)
John dying stuff (e.g. EJ "comforts" dumb Kristen about it), or EJ stuff
(e.g. Johnny). Also, Roman questioned Johnny about taking the gun, but I
missed what the upshot of that was.
GH - Thur's ep. What an ass! Dante lashes out at Lulu for actually discovering the truth about Gio to the point where Lulu wants nothing to
do with him anymore. Considering that Gio doesn't either, this is
starting to be a pattern! Meanwhile, NuMichael tries to use the kids as leverage to get Willow to leave Drew - but Willow is like a talking
puppet and Drew gets her to do a 180 on that and instead she's going to
fight Michael. (Lucky for dumb, weak Willow that Nina got the ace up the
sleeve that they need in the previous epie!!)

A Boyfriend to Die For (LMN) - Somewhat misleading title alert!
OK, I was wrong, and am willing to admit it! - But Brittany
Underwood looked great here (going back to being a brunette helps a
lot). I figured that Underwood was pushing 40, but she's actually still
36, and could easily pass for early 30s.
As a flick though, this was mostly mediocre - Underwood plays a poor
little rich girl with a recently deceased brother who has taken over
being in charge of her rich family's charitable trust.
Alex Trumble is back (second night in a row!) playing the supposed
secret heir to another richie-rich family. But you generally don't cast
Trumble unless he's playing a deranged or Evol! scumbag, so we already
know how this is going to go. Sure enough, he's running a con, romancing Underwood's character and sweet talking her in order to milk a sweet,
    sweet payday!
I generally dislike the Lifetime flicks where the lead heroine is
(so obviously!) being conned. Underwood makes this go down a little bit
easier, but not enough, esp. because it's clear to the viewer from the
get-go that Trumble is running a con.
So, this one is probably only for Underwood fans.

At least somebody finally told the silly daughter that the reason Sherlock claimed he never met her mother was because she was using a different name!

But didn't she show him a picture? The proper response would be I know
that woman, but when I knew her she went by a different name. Or she
looks like someone I knew, but that's not her name. The comment about
the daughter potentially being a con artist made more sense.

    waiting for answers...

The only picture I saw her show was that crowd shot where you couldn’t possibly pick out anyone unless you already knew they were there.
