    Yes, you heard it here first: it is now deemed offensive to be against pedophiles in Britain, at least in its prisons. Leo Kearse shares
    information on how prison guards in Britain are now supposed to avoid
    language that makes pedophiles (usually called "nonces" in everyday
    speech) feel bad, particularly the term "chemical castration". He
    worries that this is yet another move by the Labour government to

    Afaics, "chemical castration" (unlike 'nonce') seems like it would've
    been coined not as a slur, but as an unusually precise descriptor.

    Which is surprising since Starmer himself was a top Crown Prosecutor
    before he ran for Parliament. It's a key reason he's quickly running
    for shelter over the grooming gangs scandal since he prosecuted one
    such gang before running for Parliament.

    Shouldn't the term be "paedophiliaphobe"? A pedophobe is scared of children.
