You know, I kind of like the aspect that Pike somehow knows the fate
awaiting him. I'm not sure how he knows -- I think I missed something --
but it works for me that he knows this, since we do, and that he handles
it by focusing on the people he'll save.

I like seeing M'Ress, too. I always liked her.
I do wish they'd either respect the timeline or admit that this is a
what-if. It's a decent show. It just doesn't quite fit where they say it goes.
Yes, I have liked it a lot more if they had just said it was an alternate timeline
