    The predator. Their species is called Yautja.

    I finally saw the original Predator movie a couple of years back but I
    don't remember the species ever being identified. I suppose it got
    revealed elsewhere in the franchise.

    As to your original point, I have little doubt that Predators would be
    more than welcome by our "progressive" friends. They like
    anyone/anything that is disruptive and destructive.
