I feel kind of bad for ol' Shatner there. He's been parodied so many
times, and it's not his fault the show was melodramatic.

    What did you watch?

    I watched ST:TNG "The Game."

Some bad guys trap the Enterprise crew in a completely, permanently
addictive game. Wesley, on leave from Starfleet Academy, teams up with
some new ensign to stop them. Romantic sparks fly along the way. The
segment where the rest of the crew is all pursuing Wesley is pretty
    tense.

It's striking how many bad guys' plans perforce begin with "First,
    disable Data."

This is a decent episode, IMO. I don't hate Wesley. The core trope is
pretty familiar, but new capabilities are making this sort of completely addictive experience available without any evil aliens.

What makes this episode is a young and beautiful Ashley Judd before she
    went insane.

Ashley Judd, back when she still cute and sane.

Romantic sparks fly along the way.

The most ridiculous moment in the entire STAR TREK universe: that a girl as
hot as Ashley Judd would find anything remotely attractive about Wesley Crusher. And that when this most unlikely of events happened, Wesley didn't jump on that immediately.

    Hey, thanks for asking!

I have sporadic DVR service again. I am clearing it off. I'm down to 7%.
I've stopped recording almost anything new except for old reruns of to tell the truth.

I saw mine was at 97% so I spent yesterday and this morning doing some clearing. Watched a lot of old FALL GUYs that I had recorded last fall along with every BOB'S BURGERS and FAMILY GUY from the current season and a couple BAYWATCHes and some stuff I could delete unwatched that I've decided I'm not interested in anymore. All told, I cleared off about 20 hours and that only brought it down to 89%, so I still have more work to do.

This is a decent episode, IMO. I don't hate Wesley. The core trope is >>>> pretty familiar, but new capabilities are making this sort of completely >>>> addictive experience available without any evil aliens.

What makes this episode is a young and beautiful Ashley Judd before she >>> went insane.

    Goddammit. What flavor?

Well, I’ve been enjoying Selena Gomez flavored Oreos…

That kinda sounds dank and moist.

William Shatner reacted to Paul Wesley portraying Captain Kirk in
Strange New Worlds and absolutely savaged them on their treatment
    of Star Trek.

Ashley Judd, back when she was still cute and sane.

Shall we just have Ian send the ice cream he owes you straight to me?

That works, especially since you seem to have embraced "swamp gas" as your go-to flavor these days.

Romantic sparks fly along the way.

The most ridiculous moment in the entire STAR TREK universe: that a girl as >> hot as Ashley Judd would find anything remotely attractive about Wesley
Crusher. And that when this most unlikely of events happened, Wesley didn't >> jump on that immediately.

That honestly didn’t surprise me in the least.
