• First Glimpse of the New Buffy

I don't know what they're talking about when they say "she looks like she hasn't aged a day". She doesn't look bad for her age, but it's very clear that she has indeed aged.

Sarah Michelle Gellar looked like she hadn't aged a day in the first look at the BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER reboot-- but fans might be surprised by the dramatic makeover on set of the hotly anticipated series.

In exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com, the 48-year-old actress-- who shot to fame playing Buffy Summers for seven seasons-- was seen rocking a bold red power suit, bringing a corporate edge to the beloved character.

Still as stunning as ever, Gellar's chic top and matching skirt were a far cry from the teenage slayer's signature look back when the show ended in 2003.
Gone are the slinky tank tops, grungy layers, and wooden stakes-- replaced by business-casual glam and a to-go cup of coffee.

With sun-kissed blonde highlights, a luxury designer handbag, and red heels to match her bold suit, it's anyone's guess what the former Sunnydale heroine is up to these days-- long after all those exhausting vampire-slaying high school nights.

Just last month, Gellar hinted that something new may be brewing for the franchise, teasing that the reboot 'will be lighter than the last few seasons of the original'.

I dunno what they're talking about - the original series only ran
    <s>three seasons</s> a single season.

P.S. Never put Marti Noxon in charge of anything!!

Worth trying. Most reboots are bad, but a few surprise me. The 2021
    Fantasy Island reboot was excellent.

It helped massively that they dumped the Herve Villachaize character. He
was fine as a villain in The Man With the Golden Gun, but as a loveable sidekick, the actor was way too much of a creep.

They didn't have that in the 1999 reboot either, and it was massively
    better than the 2021 effort.

I misread that. I never saw the 2021 thing. I was thinking of 1999.

They could always bring back Whedon... There's a 30-second clip from the
new series on TikTok that shows a behind the scenes look at things.
