• [OT] Gazans are hungry because the UN is failing to deliver most aid an

From Rhino@21:1/5 to All on Wed Aug 13 11:43:24 2025
The media is full of nonsense about Israel causing a famine in Gaza. The
fact is that Israel and the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation are virtually
the only ones getting aid to the Gazans. The UN let aid rot in the sun
outside of Gaza and only eventually started letting some of it through, whereupon Hamas looted it and SOLD it to their fellow Gazans. Meanwhile,
the Israelis, with help from the Americans use the Gaza Foundation to
get aid into Gaza and GIVE it to the Gazans.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqU1RRme41U [13 minutes]

But Hamas' propaganda arm gets reported by most of our media and
believed by our political elites; polls show that majorities of people
surveyed are also fooled by the Hamas propaganda. Now we are on the
verge of seeing Hamas rewarded for their terrorism by having their state recognized.

This is beyond obscene. I only wish I knew how to stop this but it seems
that anti-Semitism is back with a vengeance and everyone is choosing not
to believe the Israelis when they tell the truth about what's going on.

to give credit to one of the Good People, Chef Andre's World Food Kitchen
    has been helpful, too.

They got pissed a year ago when some of its personnel were killed
in an Israeli attack, but then got SUPER PISSED a couple of days

around in a WCK marked vehicle...

Yes, it's primarily the Israelis who are blocking food distribution from
Gaza. This information is coming from European press not just MSM from

I loved the bit near the end of the second video where the Gaza woman
said the food she got (presumably from the air drop) wasn't the food she wanted. The voiceover said she demanded protein, eggs and fruit instead
of whatever she had received. I guess she's not *quite* as hungry as

I've NEVER heard of people in famine-afflicted areas moaning that the
food they got wasn't their first choice. That is the behaviour of people
    who have options.

Russian and German soldiers fighting in Stalingrad often went hungry
when their logistics chains couldn't deliver food. When that happened,
they hunted for stray animals - mostly cats and dogs - and used them to supplement their diets. They wouldn't have complained about what food
they could get, even if it wasn't their first choice.

The victims of Stalin's collectivization campaign and Mao's "Great Leap Forward" were the same: they ate ANYTHING they could find that was
remotely edible including weeds, tree bark, and eventually dirt. The dirt-eaters clogged their intestinal tracts and died.

Also, note that the interview with the young mom was filmed on the
ground and the journalist in the plane said that it was impossible for
Western journalists to wander around Gaza freely to do reporting. That
means the interview with the "hungry" woman was done by members of
Hamas' propaganda wing. In other words, it conveyed just the picture
that Hamas wanted to convey. It joins a number of other staged pictures
that have come to light in recent days. Hamas is trying to win sympathy
from soft-hearted Westerners and it seems to be working. I'll bet that
woman was an enthusiastic supporter of Hamas and very possibly the wife
of one of its (surviving) commanders.

I say that because the BBC got into hot water for showing a documentary
about life in Gaza from a child's perspective. It was only after it was
aired that it was revealed that the focal child in the "documentary" had
a Hamas commander as his father, making the film hopelessly biased.

That's an absurd assumption. Pritein and fruit/vege would be optimal
over the flour or whatever was in the drop. Sure straches can fill the
belly, but nutritionally it's not ideal over long term

makes sense since we know Israel has blocked others from bringing in
food. Take a look at this video for an alternative view

Apparently Spain did a similar air drop of food.

Here is a video of a similar air drop by Jordan:

Yes, it's primarily the Israelis who are blocking food distribution
from Gaza. This information is coming from European press not just MSM
    from the US.

Or is it the UN, which openly despises Israel, delaying food

No, because it's not just the UN in charge of getting food to Gaza.

distribution to make Israel look bad? And then tipping off Hamas when
they do let food in so that they can easily loot the aid shipment, then
SELL it to their own people in exchange for money that they can use to
    buy more arms?

So you say, but others say the nonsense is coming from Israel. Which

I loved the bit near the end of the second video where the Gaza woman
said the food she got (presumably from the air drop) wasn't the food
she wanted. The voiceover said she demanded protein, eggs and fruit
instead of whatever she had received. I guess she's not *quite* as
hungry as they would have us believe.

That's an absurd assumption. Pritein and fruit/vege would be optimal
over the flour or whatever was in the drop. Sure straches can fill the
belly, but nutritionally it's not ideal over long term

Again, I don't buy it. If she or her kids really ARE hungry, they'd be
glad for everything they got. They could still dream of other things but
their first priority would be staying alive so that they'd have the
chance to eat better when the war ended.
