    Thank you for commenting and giving more people a chance to read it, Zod. It is indeed an excellent poem, and Wylie is a major talent who's sadly been mainly forgotten.


    She published 3 collections of poetry and 4 novels in the 1920s, but died in 1928 aged just 43. At the time of her death she was married to her third husband, poet William Rose Benet; his poem "Sagacity" is about her. https://gdancesbetty.blogspot.com/
