--------- Why that day? related to Bach?

A French Book entitled "How to succeed in love" was published in 1830.

--------- If you know the French title,

Thank you, he says from a week an a bit later. :)

It was also our Wedding Anniversary.

    That Day.
    =========

Was warm with a small wind,
    Was touched by you,
Began with many shavings and a friend
Watching over me to forestall my impulse.

The day was filled by you,
    The One.
    The only love.

The day was dances and eating and refraining,
    For the night was coming
    Which would be our forever.

That day helped to shape us, make us, join us
    In a life together
    Shared,
    Held and bound by love.

And a promise of a bright new future.

    You were and are glorious.

    J. for 21/3.

I used to be good at the words thing, according to other people
reading them. I don't know whether I still am.

Also, I've delayed posting this because I'm reticent about poking my
head over the parapet. I don't know whether it's allowed.

    Apologies if I erred.

    J.

Looking forward to reading your poetry .

Uhn, that *is* some of what I call "my poetry". Are you saying that
it's either so poor that you didn't recognise it *as* a poem or that
it's so very, very excellent that it leaves you gasping and desperate
    for more?

More could be an issue. That is the first thing I've done for a
number of years. I'm not even sure I *can* do anything else but I'll
    think about it, thanks.

    For now, breakfast.

    Have a lovely day,
    J.
