    As I recall 1983's "Superman III" with Richard Pryor had ads for KFC
    and I'm sure it goes back earlier.

    What's not in Columbia anymore..

    They used to appear after the movie premiered. Now it's before.
    The whoring starts early. Movie-actors walk a red carpet, there are Academy Awards but there is no dignity in shilling for a crappy fast-food restaurant chain. It degrades the "aura" of the movie.
