    You have to wonder if despite the money these actors sometimes feel betrayed that they go to Hollywood

    Rich, I know you're in cognitive decline but thinking the actor is a
    character in a movie rather than an actor in a movie is *really* bad.
    It means you can't distinguish fantasy from reality. I hope you're
    getting professional help.

    My gripe is, in the first place, that this will be a movie and not a tv series and secondly,
    no-name hack screenwriters (taking their orders from dumbass studio executives) will
    be brought in to create new (stupid and shitty) content when what they ought to do
    is base a tv series on the original game modules, of which there are dozens.

    The “Queen Of The Spiders” supermodule for example (combining seven of the original
    modules) would be prefect for a multi-season tv show.

    That's what Hollyweird calls "an adaptation" and is pretty much statd
    for everything that is "based on" somone else's work. :-(
