    Instead, we get cartoon crap like "The Meg" and other silly drivel about mutated animals. Go back to the 1980's, a least good-looking women took off their clothes in those horror movies. Now, the biggest concerns of producers are to have enough women
    and gay characters and how to illogically or not, shoe-horn in ethnic Chinese "actors" who can barely speak English.

    'Found footage' films demand at least a bit more thinking by the viewer.

    "Cloverfield" and the like distinguish themselves by not giving paint-by-number explanations of why what is happening is happening.
